Welcome to LuminNode ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience while using our astrological and personal insight applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
2.1. Account Information: When you create an account using email or Google Sign-In, we collect your email address, chosen display name, and authentication tokens provided by Firebase Auth.
2.2. Astrological Data: To provide accurate calculations, we collect birth data including your birth date, birth time, and birth location (which we convert to latitude/longitude coordinates). This information is processed deterministically to generate your planetary placements.
2.3. Oracle Memory: Conversations you have with the Oracle AI are stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud database (if you have an account) so that you can access your history.
We use your data strictly to provide the core functionality of LuminNode. Your astrological data is used to calculate natal charts, transits, and synastry (compatibility) metrics. Your chat history is used to provide context-aware insights through our Generative AI systems.
4.1. Generative AI Providers: Your astrological blueprints and chat inputs are sent to our Large Language Model partners (such as Google Gemini) to generate conversational insights. We do not sell your personal data to these providers, and they do not use your data to train their models.
4.2. Analytics: We may use minimal, aggregated analytics to monitor app health, crashes, and feature usage.
We never sell your personal information to data brokers or advertising networks.
You maintain full control over your data. You can delete your account permanently directly within the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account). This action immediately purges your profile, chats, and forecast history from our databases.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, provided by Firebase infrastructure to protect your personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
